No. 43 Cardinals Set to Face No. 46 Notre Dame

Cardinals are on the road this weekend
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The No. 43-ranked University of Louisville head to South Bend this weekend to take on long-time foe No. 46 ranked Notre Dame on Saturday, April 3.

The Cardinals are led by the No. 27-ranked doubles pair of Raven Neely and Tatiana Simova. The two have compiled an 8-4 mark, primarily at the No. 2 spot. Louisville has had sparkling singles play from Andrea Di Palma, who is ranked No. 93 in the nation. UofL is 7-9 overall heading into the match.

No. 46 Notre Dame Women's Tennis fell to two top-10 opponents in No. 1 North Carolina and No. 8 Duke on Sunday and Monday. The Irish move to 9-11 overall and 3-8 in conference play.The Irish began the road swing at No. 1 North Carolina and would battle six ranked opponents, ultimately falling 7-0. In Durham on Monday morning, the Irish were led by freshman Julia Andreach, who defeated Hannah Zhao in a three-set tiebreaker, 6-7 (5-7), 6-0, 1-0 (10-7), to put the Irish on the board. The Blue Devils would win the doubles point and five singles points to earn the 6-1 final.

Next up for the Cardinals will be Georgia Tech April 9 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

UofL has added a match on April 17 with Butler after UT Martin had to bow out earlier this week.
