
Forrest Named ACC Women’s Co-Field Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Louisville's Makenli Forrest has been named the ACC Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week for February 3.
Forrest, a senior from Ellenwood, Ga., posted a season-best mark of 22.16m (72-8.5) to win the Weight Throw at the Notre Dame Invitational. The mark ranks third the current NCAA standings and ranks ninth on Louisville's all-time list.
The 2020 NCAA Indoor All-American extends her weight throw win tally three straight this season (each of her competitions) and 11 in her career.
The Cardinals will return to action this weekend when they head to Blacksburg, Va., for the Doc Hale Elite Meet.
