Louisville will play one of its two remaining road games of the season as the Cardinals face the Duke Blue Devils in Durham, N.C. for the second time this season on Saturday. Â
Louisville won 69-57 over Notre Dame on Tuesday in the KFC Yum! Center as Carlik Jones led the Cardinals with 18 points and four assists, while Jae'Lyn Withers produced his third double-double of the season with 12 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. Â UofL outrebounded the Fighting Irish 45-30, its fifth double-digit rebounding margin of the season and fourth in ACC games.
Senior forward/center Malik Williams totaled eight points and 10 rebounds against Notre Dame in his first start of the season, his 10th career double-figure rebounding effort. Â It was his second game back after missing UofL's first 15 games after recovering from surgery to repair a broken foot.
Duke (11-8, 9-6 ACC) has won its last four games, including a 66-65 victory over then No. 7 Virginia on Feb. 20 and defeating Syracuse  85-71 on Feb. 22 in its last game.
Duke forward Matthew Hurt is second in the ACC in scoring (18.3) and third in field goal percentage (.556). Â Senior guard Jared Goldwire leads the ACC in assists/turnovers ratio (2.77) and ranks second in steals (2.5) and seventh in assists (3.8). Duke is No. 30 by KenPom, No. 24 in the Sagarin Ratings, No. 30 in ESPN's College Basketball Power Index (BPI), No. 49 in the NET rankings and No. 98 in the RPI through Feb. 24.

- UofL earned its second NCAA title as they prevailed 72-69 over Duke in the 1986 NCAA Championship game behind Final Four Most Outstanding Player Pervis Ellison's 25 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots (3-31-86). Louisville beat the Blue Devils 85-63 in the 2013 Midwest Region championship in Indianapolis, Ind. en route to the Cardinals' third NCAA title (3-31-13; later vacated).
- UofL guard Josh Nickelberry and Duke forward Joey Baker were teammates for two seasons at Trinity Christian High School before Nickelberry moved to Northwood Temple Academy for his final two prep years. Â Nickelberry also played AAU ball with Duke's Wendell Moore.
- Duke Director of Operations and Player Development Nolan Smith's father Derek Smith was a member of Louisville's 1980 NCAA Championship team and is seventh in career scoring with 1,826 points before a nine-year NBA career. Â Derek, who passed away on Aug. 9, 1996, is one of 20 Honored Jersey recipients for the Cardinals and is a member of the UofL Hall of Fame.
