Graduate Season at Louisville in 2020-21
- Carlik is pronounced car-LEEK
- Graduate transfer was only player in the ACC to rank among the top six in scoring (16.8 ppg, 6th in the ACC), assists (4.5 apg, 4th), assists/turnovers ratio (2.18, 4th) and free throw percentage (.815, 3rd). Â He led the ACC and ranked ninth in the nation in minutes played (37.6 minutes per game). He was also among the ACC leaders in steals (1.4, 12th), field goal percentage (.402, 14th) and rebounding (4.9, 34th).
- Â First-team All-ACC pick, receiving the third-highest votes and finished tied for second in the conference player of the year vote. Â He was named ACC Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.
- Combined with Radford and Louisville, he has 101 career double-figure scoring efforts, including 41 the last 42 games (18 of 19 at Louisville). He is the first person in UofL history to reach double figures in their first 17 games at UofL (previous record of 15 held by Damion Lee in 2015-16).
- Â Against Duke on Feb. 27, he matched a season-high with 25 points with four assists and two steals, marking the 31st game of his collegiate career with 20 or more points (fifth this season).
 Scored a season-high 25 points at Miami with seven assists. - Led Louisville vs. Duke on Jan. 23 with 24 points, five assists and two steals.
- Produced his second double-double of the year with 23 points and 10 rebounds at Wake Forest.  Jones is the first Louisville guard with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds since Terry Rozier finished with 22 and 10 in a 69-56 win against Pittsburgh on Feb. 11, 2015.  His 23 points were the most by a UofL guard with 10 or more rebounds since Larry O’Bannon had 25 points and 11 boards in an 85-51 win vs. North Carolina A&T on Dec. 14, 2004.
- Ranked 12th in the nation in career assists among active players with 554 (85 at Louisville, 469 at Radford) and was 15th nationally among active career scorers with 1,871 points (319 at UofL, 1,552 at Radford).
- Named to the John R. Wooden Award presented by Wendy’s Late Season Top 20 Watch List.
- Noted as the top graduate transfer in the country by ESPN in 2020. Â He is ranked among the top 25 players in college basketball for 2020-21 by ESPN.
- Honored as co-MVP of the Cardinals’ victory over Kentucky by Bluegrass Sports Commission with a season-high 20 points, five rebounds and two assists.
- Named the Most Valuable Player of the 2020 Wade Houston Tipoff Classic.
- Honored as a 2020-21 Preseason All-America selection by Stadium on the five-person third team preseason All-America team.
- Produced a double-double against Seton Hall with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. His 11 rebounds were the most for a UofL guard since Terry Rozier pulled down 14 vs. NC State in the 2015 NCAA East Region semifinals (3-27-15).
- Filled up the box score in his debut vs. Evansville, with team highs of 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists on Nov. 25. Â His scoring total is tied for the fifth-most in a UofL debut.
- Averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals as a redshirt junior in leading Radford to a 21-11 record and their second straight Big South Conference regular season championship in 2019-20. Â
- Noted as the top graduate transfer in the country by ESPN in 2020. Â He is ranked among the top 25 players in college basketball for 2020-21 by ESPN.
- Only player in the nation to average at least 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per outing last season, and was one of just 16 players in Division I men’s basketball to do so since the 1996-97 season.  His scoring average was 28th in the nation and his assists per game ranked 36th nationally.
- Honored as the 2019-20 Big South Player of the Year
- Produced 18 games with 20 or more points, including scoring 30 or more on three occasions, and had 16 games with five or more assists, including four with 10 or more. Â His 175 assists and 641 points were both the third-highest totals in Radford history.
- Became the seventh player in Big South Conference history to reach over 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 400 assists in a career. His 1,552 career points rank eighth at Radford and his 469 assists are the third-highest for the Highlanders.
- An All-Big South first team selection in 2019-20, Jones was also honored on the NABC All-District 3 first team, a  Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State first team member, was one of 31 players chosen for the Lute Olson All-America team, and was named to the Lou Henson All-America team, a list of 40 top players from mid-major universities.
- Connected on 48.8 percent of his field goals as a junior (218-of-447), including 40.9 percent from three-point range (46-0f-115). Â He collected 137 steals in his three seasons at Radford.
- Scored a career-high 33 points against Hampton on Jan. 25 while also handing out 10 assists.Â
- A first team All-Big South and NABC District 3 selection as a sophomore, Jones averaged 15.7 points, 5.8 assists and 5.2 rebounds in helping Radford achieve a 22-11 record and Big South regular season championship. Â His 181 assists that season was the second-most ever in a Radford single season. Â He scored a season-high 28 points at Hampton on Feb. 7, 2019, including scoring a game-tying buzzer-beater at the end of regulation followed by a game-winning buzzer-beater at the end of overtime.
- Honored as the Big South Freshman of the Year in 2017-18 when he averaged 11.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a redshirt freshman for the 23-13 Highlanders. Â He tied a conference record with seven Big South Freshman of the Week awards that season. Â He hit a three-pointer as time expired to lift Radford over Liberty in the Big South Championship.
- As a freshman, he produced his first career double-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists against LIU Brooklyn to lead Radford to its first ever NCAA Tournament victory on March 13, 2018. Â He was redshirted in his initial year at Radford in 2016-17.
- Before joining the Radford program, Jones helped Aiken High School in Cincinnati to four straight district championships. Â He averaged 22.3 points, six rebounds and six assists as a senior as Aiken won a regional title before falling in the state semifinal. Â He scored 57 points to lead Aiken to a 115-89 victory over Hughes in the sectional finals on Feb. 27, 2016. Â Jones was honored as a two-time Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference and Cincinnati Enquirer Division IV Player of the Year.
- Chose to attend graduate school at Louisville and play his final collegiate season after also considering Maryland, Michigan State, Marquette, Texas Tech, West Virginia and Gonzaga.
