Ryskova Paces the Cardinals on the First Day of the Moon Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Hana Ryskova shot a 69 as the University of Louisville women's golf team opened up the spring season by hosting the Moon Golf Invitational on Sunday.Â
The Cardinals are currently in eighth place after shooting a 2-over-par 290. South Carolina holds the lead after day one with an 8-under-par 280. UCF is in second place at 6-under-par, while Florida State, LSU and Virginia are all tied for third.Â
Ryskova birdied the first two holes on the day and recorded five for the first 18 holes.  She ends the day in sixth place just six shots off the pace. Â
Lauren Hartlage shot an even-par 72 to sit in a tie for 19th. She registered four birdies for her round and got off to a fast start by recording birdies on four of the first nine holes.
Mairead Martin was a solid 1-over par to maintain a tie for 32nd place, while Agustina Gomez-Cisterna is in a tie for 57th place after shooting 76. Margot Bechadergue is tied for 81st place after shooting a 7-over-par-79.
Playing as individuals, Carly Haines is toed for 86th place, while Molly Lyne is in 92nd.
The Cardinals are back at it on Tuesday morning at 8:10 a.m.
