Sunday's Men's Tennis Match Against No. 19 Kentucky Moved to 1 p.m.

Louisville, Ky. – For the first time since 2011, the University of Louisville men's tennis team will face in-state rival No. 19 Kentucky Wildcats for the Battle of the Bluegrass Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The match was originally slated to start at 3 p.m.
At this time, in accordance with COVID-19 precautions, fans will not be allowed to attend indoor matches at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. To view live scoring for the match, visit here. Video streaming is available here.
Louisville brings a 4-0 record into the match. Last Sunday the Cardinals traveled to Auburn for the first road match of the season and came away to with a 4-1 victory to stay undefeated on the year.

Scouting the Wildcats: No. 19 Kentucky enters the matchup with a 9-1 record on the season. On Wednesday, the Wildcats took on the No. 1 USC Trojans, where they were handed their first loss of the season 4-3. Kentucky has three ranked players in singles and is led by No. 45 Liam Draxl. He currently holds an 9-0 overall record at the No. 1 spot and last week defeated the No. 1 ranked player in college tennis, Daniel Cukierman. The Wildcats have two more ranked players with No. 114 Alexandre Leblanc and No. 123 Joshua Lapadat in singles. In doubles, the team has a combined record of 22-5. The head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats is Cedric Kauffmann, who enters his ninth season.
