Cards Travel to the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Sunday

LOUISVILLE – The University of men's golf team will take a trip to Jonesborough, Tennessee for the 23rd annual Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, Sunday through Tuesday.
Louisville is coming off a an eighth-place finish at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., last week.
Jiri Zuska finished with a 3-under-par to post another top-10 finish. Entering the day in the top three, Zuska fired a 3-over-par 75 to close the tournament in a tie for ninth place, which was his second-straight top 10 finish. The senior started off with consecutive rounds of 69 to hang in contention before shooting that 3-over on Wednesday.
East Tennessee State will host its 54-hole tournament at Blackthorn Club. Among the 15 teams entered, five schools are ranked in the top-50: No. 11 NC State, No. 16 UAB, No. 20 ETSU and No. 50 Charlotte. The Cardinals won the tournament in 2019-20.
Zuska, Chris Francoeur, Max Kennedy, Nick Tenuta and Pierce Grieve will be the five starters for the Cards, while Walker Franklin will compete as an individual.
