
Cards Remain in Ninth Place After Two Rounds of the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Trevor Johnson shot an even-par 72 to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team after two rounds of the Camp Creek Championship at Camp Creek Golf Club in Watersound, Fla. The tournament has 10 teams, all from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
It was the first round of the year for all 10 teams, as ACC teams did not compete in the fall due to the pandemic. Â
The Cardinals are in ninth place after two rounds of action, 33 shots behind Wake Forest, Florida State and Clemson are tied for second.
Louisville shot a 12-over-par 300 on Monday to sit at 19-over-par and are six shots ahead of 10th place Virginia.
Johnson was steady during Monday's action to post the top round for the Cardinals. He's tied for 31st overall after shooting 75-72=147. Hugh O'Hare, who is playing as an individual, continues to pace the Cardinals overall, sitting in a tie for 18th after carding a 69-75=144.
Matthias Schmid is tied for 36th overall after his rounds of 72-76=148, while Jiri Zuska is tied for 40th after his rounds of 72-77=149.
Devin Morley improved on Sunday's round of 78 by shooting a 75 to move into 50th and John Murphy is in 57th after carding a 76-79=155.
The Cardinals will begin the final round on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
