- Louisville is now 13-5 all-time against Miami, as the Hurricanes snapped a three-game losing streak to the Cardinals.
- All five of Louisville's losses in the series have come in Coral Gables (in 10 games).
- UofL scored 51 points in the second half on Saturday, its highest-scoring half of the season.
- It was the most points in a half for the Cardinals since scoring 52 in the second half of an 86-76 win over Wake Forest last February.
- Louisville is now 200-11 when scoring at least 50 points in the second half of a 40-minute game.
- It was the first loss when doing so since a 91-83 loss to Western Carolina on Dec. 12, 2009.
- The Cardinals trailed by as much as 15 in the second half and were able to get as close as one, but never tied or took the lead after halftime.
- Louisville committed a season-low seven turnovers in the loss, two fewer than the previous low this season.
- It was the fewest turnovers since also finishing with seven in a loss at Clemson last February.
- The Cardinals made just three three-point attempts on Saturday, their second-fewest in a game this season (two against Seton Hall).
- Louisville finished at 83.3 percent (15-for-18) from the free throw line, its third game this season shooting 80 percent or better from the stripe.
- Miami outrebounded the Cardinals 38-30, the first time UofL had lost the rebounding battle in ACC play this season.
- Miami's Isaiah Wong was the first player to score 30 points against the Cardinals since Trey McGowens put up 33 for Pitt on Jan. 9, 2019.
- Carlik Jones set his season high in points for the second straight game, finishing with 25 and matching his season-high with seven assists.
- Jones made a season-best 11 field goals and tied his high for the year with 20 field goal attempts.
- Jones has scored at least 20 points three times this season (all in the last five games) and 29 times in his collegiate career.
- Jones played all 40 minutes for the second time this season, having done so against Seton Hall as well.
- Jae'Lyn Withers recorded a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.
- It was the second double-double of Withers' career, both coming in the last three games.
- The 18 points were just two shy of Withers' career-high, while he was just one short of his career-best in rebounds.
- Dre Davis tallied 11 points, doing most of his work at the free throw line with 7-of-8 free throw attempts made.
- Davis scored in double figures for the second straight game after not doing so in the five games prior to this week.
