Softball Places 17 on ACC Academic Honor Roll

The University of Louisville softball program placed 17 student-athletes on the 2019-20 ACC Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office today.

The honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity level sport and recorded a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
About Louisville Softball
The University of Louisville softball team posted a 10-13 record in the abbreviated 2020 season which came to a halt on March 12 – prior to the Cardinals' ACC-opening series against Boston College. The early season slate featured 10 games against teams in the top 25 in the most recent rankings including: No. 9/9 Oregon, No. 13/11 Oklahoma State, No. 10/13 Alabama, No. 18/17 Michigan, No. 21/18 Baylor, No. 21/22 Mississippi State and No. 23/24 Missouri.

The team emerged from the month-long road swing with some impressive milestones, including a season-opening upset against No. 21/25 Ole Miss, a no-hitter from junior Chardonnay Harris against Wichita State and handing then-10th-ranked Oregon its first loss of the season.
