Women’s Lacrosse Excels in the Classroom

The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.876 grade-point average for the 2020 spring semester.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville lacrosse team completed a successful spring semester in the classroom, posting a 3.786 team grade-point average.
The strong academic numbers follow the team winning multiple community service awards at the Louie's Student-Awards Show.
"It makes me humble and really proud to be their coach," said head coach Scott Teeter. "Our student-athletes are buying in and its great to see that we're building our program in a positive way. We have a lot of high character individuals that are not just great lacrosse players, but they are great individuals in the community and the classroom."
In addition, 31 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better GPA, while 29 earned Red & Black Scholar Athlete status for a 3.25 or better cumulative GPA.
Twenty-Five players were named to the Dean's List for Spring 2020, earning above a 3.5 GPA, while 12 were named Dean's Scholars for a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Allie Arcidiacono graduated in the spring of 2020.
