LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- Winners of eight straight games, Louisville plays its first of two straight at home in the KFC Yum! Center as the ACC-leading Cardinals face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on
Wednesday.

Louisville remained unbeaten in ACC road games this season (6-0) with a 77-57 victory at NC State on Feb. 1 as Ryan McMahon sank a career-high seven three-pointers to lead the Cardinals with 23 points off the bench. UofL limited NC State to two points in the final 9:46 of the game, including
holding the Wolfpack scoreless for the last 5:46. The Cardinals shot 50.9 percent from the field, their eighth game this season over 50 percent.

Louisville has four players averaging eight or more points a game. Junior Jordan Nwora leads the team in scoring with 19.3 points per game, while pulling down 7.5 rebounds a game. Steven Enoch is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Dwayne Sutton averages 8.9 points while leading the team in rebounding with 8.4 per game. Perry leads the team with 69 assists.

The Demon Deacons (10-11, 3-8 ACC) have dropped six of their last eight games, but won 56-44 at home against Clemson on Feb. 1 in their last outing.

Senior guard Brandon Childress leads WFU in scoring (15.4 ppg), assists (4.7) and steals (1.3). Wake Forest leads the ACC in free throws made (367, 23rd in the nation) and attempted (492). Wake Forest is No. 104 in the Sagarin Ratings, No. 107 in the NET rankings, No. 110 in ESPN's College Basketball Power Index (BPI) and No. 104 by Ken Pomeroy through Feb. 2.

Louisville leads 6-2 in its series against Wake Forest, winning four of the last five meetings. In last season's matchup, Louisville prevailed 82-54 in Winston Salem, N.C. as Jordan Nwora scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Dwayne Sutton produced his fifth career double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
