The Cardinals notch their third tournament win this year.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The final 36 holes of the Dorado Beach Collegiate have been cancelled due to inclement weather. Monday's second round was postponed and eventually negated due to rain, while Tuesday's final round was also cancelled due to heavy rains.
The University of Louisville men's golf team was awarded their third tournament win of the season, owning a seven-shot lead over second place Kansas. The Cardinals won two tournaments in the fall, winning the Bearcat Invitational and the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.
John Murphy won his second career tournament and the second this year, shooting a seven-under-par 65.
Louisville returns to the course on March 9-10 at the General Hackler Invitational.
