Minrath Takes Her Art to the Field

Redshirt freshman Sam Minrath brings an impressive resume to the sixth-ranked University of Louisville field hockey team. In high school, the goalkeeper was a three-time all-state selection and helped lead Christian Academy of Louisville to a state championship during her senior season. She also started to develop her passion for art.

Now she carries a double major in art and psychology with ambitions of pursuing a career in art therapy. Â Minrath has been able to combine her passion for art and love of field hockey by creating the design for her goalkeeper helmet. She sat down with CardsTV to talk about her creative process.
