Women's Lacrosse Excels in the Classroom

The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.62 grade-point average for the 2019 spring semester.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville lacrosse team completed a successful spring semester in the classroom, posting a 3.616 team grade-point average.

"I am extremely proud of our team for their efforts in the classroom," said head coach Scott Teeter. "Prior to the semester, we set a goal for our team to achieve a 3.5 grade-point average and we are thrilled to accomplish that feat."
In addition, 24 of 25 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better GPA, while 23 earned Red & Black Scholar Athlete status for a 3.25 or better cumulative GPA.

Sixteen players were named to the Dean's List for Spring 2019, earning above a 3.5 GPA, while four were named Dean's Scholars for a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Cardinals have a cumulative 3.493 GPA, which includes previous semesters of everyone on the roster.
Lexie Ball, Tessa Chad and Brenna Shanahan all attended graduation last weekend. Chad graduated with a B.S. in Sport Administration, while Shanahan graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science. Ball will complete her degree this summer.
