
Tremonti Signs with Louisville

Louisville field hockey welcomes Minna Tremonti to the 2019 roster
University of Louisville field hockey coach Justine Sowry has announced that Minna Tremonti has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to join the Cardinals in the fall of 2019. Tremonti is part of a class of seven newcomers who will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Position: Midfielder/Forward

Minna Tremonti joins the Cardinals from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she played for two-time state champion Huron High School. The midfielder was a NFHCA All-America third team selection and All-Midwest/West Region honoree in 2017 and 2018. Tremonti earned Michigan High School Field Hockey Association (MHSFHA) All-State first team honors for four straight years.

For the past three years, Tremonti was a Max Field Hockey Top 50 Player and would go on to be named the website's Michigan Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018.

In addition to her high school accomplishments, she was a USA Field Hockey Under 17 Junior National Camp selection and competed in the U16 Junior Olympics, National Futures Championship and Stars and Stripes in 2017.

Tremonti also brings a stellar academic resume as a 2018 MHSFHA All-Academic Senior Recipient.
