Cardinals Wrap Up Full Weekend of Action at the Ole Miss Classic

Louisville collects four wins on Saturday
OXFORD, Miss. – The University of Louisville track and field team earned four wins and 11 top-three finishes at the Ole Miss Classic on Saturday to wrap up the competition this weekend.
Anthony Crandon picked up the win in the 400m for the third consecutive week with a time of 48.53. Cameron Stephens picked up his first win of the outdoor season, finishing the 3,000m with at 8:36.73.
Martice Moore won the 400m hurdles for the first time this season to round out the wins on the track. He clocked in at 52.02 for the win. Donald McClinton broke his own school record in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 20.90 and finishing second place overall.
Gabriela Leon took the top spot in the long jump with a personal best mark of 6.41m/21-00.50.
Cade Richeson and Rashida Harris each took second in shot put. Harris tossed a personal-best of 15.90m/52-02 and Richeson finished with a mark of 16.98m/55-08.50.
The Cardinals will take a week off from competition, then resume on April 11 at the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville, Tenn. and at the Louisville Invitational beginning April 12.
