
Louisville Welcomes Thirsa Kho

Thirsa Kho will join the Cardinals in the fall of 2019
University of Louisville field hockey coach Justine Sowry has announced that Thirsa Kho has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to join the Cardinals in the fall of 2019. Kho is part of a class of seven newcomers who will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

High School: Canisius College, Nijmegen
Position: Midfielder

Thirsa Kho joins the Cardinals from Nijmegen, Netherlands, where she attends Canisius College, Nijmegen and plays for NMHC Nijmegen field hockey club. In 2017-18, she competed in the highest national division with the NMHC Under 18 level and was later selected to practice and compete with the senior team in the Hoofdklasse.

She was recently named as a preselection for the Dutch Under 18 team.

Kho brings an impressive resume while playing for the NMHC club in the Dutch Field Hockey League. In 2015-16, Kho helped her NMHC U16 team to a third place finish in the league. As a member of the U14 team Northeast Netherlands championship team, she helped her squad to a fourth place finish in the national championships. Her U12 team won the Netherlands championship.
