March 01, 2019 | Men's Tennis
Louisville hosts Northwestern Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Currently riding a five-match win streak, the No. 37 University of Louisville men's tennis team will play host to No. 41 Northwestern on Sunday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. Match time is slated for 12 p.m.
Â
"Playing Northwestern is a big challenge for us," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "Coach Arvid Swan has built one of the top big 10 programs year after year. They regularly play the NCAA tournament and our match has become an important rivalry in your schedule. We have had a time of rest and training this past week because we played five dual matches in seven days the week before."
Â
The Cardinals will look to remain undefeated at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center as they hold a 7-0 record at home on the season.Â
