Format:Â A shot-gun style format where each teams tees off at once will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Thirty-six holes will be played on Saturday, and 18 holes will be played on Sunday in the final round also beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Tee Time:Â Monday (8:00 a.m. shotgun start), Tuesday (9:00 a.m. shotgun start)

LOUISVIILE, Ky. - Coming off a second-place finish in a weather-shortened tournament last week, the University of Louisville men's golf team returns to action on Saturday at Golden Eagle Country Club in the Seminole Intercollegiate.

A shot-gun style format where each teams tees off at once will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Thirty-six holes will be played on Saturday, and 18 holes will be played on Sunday in the final round also beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The 14-team field will be a challenging one, as there will be eight top 100 teams participating in this year's Seminole Intercollegiate. Based on recent GolfStat rankings, they include: Wake Forest (6), Florida State (26), Louisville (27), West Virginia (38), Jacksonville (69), Cincinnati (70), Illinois State (77), Kentucky (97), James Madison (101), Kansas State (126), Princeton (141), Troy (165), Morehead State (183) and Nicholls (201).

Six Cardinals will compete in the two-day tournament. The starting five will feature sophomore Matthias Schmid, juniors John Murphy and Devin Morley, senior Simon Zach, and freshman Jiri Zuska. Junior Trevor Johnson will compete as an individual.

The Cardinals continued their strong season with a second-place finish at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate, which was shortened to two rounds because of rain. Morley put together his best two rounds of play to finish in a tie for second place to finish four shots behind Jon Pak of Florida State, who carded an 11-under-par 133.
A native of Galway, Ireland, Morley fired an opening round of 67 by tallying birdies on four-straight holes on the front nine, including an eagle on the par 5 No. 4. He followed up his round with a 70 to shot a one-day total of 137.

Zuska also finished in the top 10 by carding a 69-71=140 to place ninth.
