2019 Spring Schedule Set

Cards will host a spring tournament April 13-14 at Trager Stadium
University of Louisville field hockey head coach Justine Sowry has released the Cardinals' 2019 spring schedule.

Louisville will open spring competition in the first weekend of April with a road trip to Ann Arbor, Mich., where the Cards will participate in a tournament hosted by the Wolverines.
Â
The following weekend will feature Louisville's spring tournament which will feature Indiana, Iowa, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern.

The Cardinals will wrap up the spring season on April 20 when they travel to Kent, Ohio to take on Miami (Ohio) and Kent State.

The Cardinals finished the 2018 season with a 13-6 overall record and ranked No. 14 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) poll after earning the No. 3 seed in the 2018 ACC Championship. Three players, Ayeisha McFerran, Mercedes Pastor and Taylor Stone earned NFHCA All-America honors while Alli Bitting, Bethany Russ and Carter Ayars joined them on the NFHCA All-West Region Teams.
