
Ean Pfeifer Named a CoSIDA Academic All-American

Ean Pfiefer has played in 12 games at tight end.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville senior tight end Ean Pfeifer was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division I Second Team the organization announced on Monday.
Pfeifer is the first Cardinal since 2007 to be honored as a football Academic All-American.
He becomes the fifth UofL football student-athlete to receive CoSIDA Academic All-America® honors and first since Brian Brohm in 2007.
Pfeifer, who is pursuing his masters of business administration, has appeared in 12 games this season after transferring from Vanderbilt a graduate transfer. The Bentonville, Ark., native has started two games at tight end, scoring two touchdowns on a pair of pass receptions. He scored his first career touchdown in a loss to Miami on Nov. 9 and later scored another TD in a win over NC State on Nov. 16.
The 2019 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
