The sophomore duo extends fall record to 11-2
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The University of Louisville men's tennis duo of Sergio Hernandez and Fabien Salle fell 8-7 (5) to Notre Dame's William Howells in the finals of the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic Sunday afternoon.
The sophomore pair finished the tournament with a 3-1 record and improved their overall mark to 11-2 in the fall season.
"The guys competed well the entire weekend in singles and doubles," said UofL head coach Rodrigo da Silva. "They handled the change of surface and really enjoyed the competition. Now it's time to get back to work and get them in shape for the spring season."
