Cardinals look to build on last week's performances
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After collecting nine wins at the Gene Edmonds Open last weekend, the University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams head to South Bend, Ind. for the Notre Dame Invitational on Saturday.
The competition will open at 11 a.m. with the Long Jump and conclude with the 4x400 m relay at 4:30 p.m. Louisville will compete against hosts Notre Dame, Central Michigan, Illinois State, and Loyola-Chicago.
Last weekend, the Cardinals picked up nine wins and double-digit top three finishes. Anthony McRoberts rounded out the field event winners with the men's high jump victory.
On the track, the Cardinals swept the 3000m races with Cameron Stephens and Aurilla Wilson crossing the finish line first for the Cardinals while Brooke Raglin tallied her first win of the season.
