Louisville, ranked 23rd in the NCAA Men's Basketball NET ratings through games of Jan. 13, returns home to the KFC Yum! Center as the Cardinals face the Boston College Eagles on Wednesday.

Louisville won for the fifth time in seven games as the Cardinal prevailed 83-62 at No. 12/12 North Carolina last Saturday. Dwayne Sutton had his second straight double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Steven Enoch produced his first career double-double with a career-high 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Jordan Nwora scored 17 points, making 5-of-8 threes.

The Cardinals are very balanced on the offensive end, with five players averaging over eight points. Sophomore Jordan Nwora leads the Cardinals in in scoring and rebounding with 17.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Christen Cunningham is second on the team in scoring with 10.6 points and leads the team with 53 assists on the year. Dwayne Sutton ranks third on the team in scoring with 10.0 points along with 6.6 rebounds per game. Steven Enoch averages 9.5 points per game while Ryan McMahon is averaging 8.3 points per game.

Boston College (9-6, 0-3 ACC) has dropped its last four games, including a 69-66 setback at Notre Dame on Jan. 12 as Ky Bowman totaled 24 points and 16 rebounds for the Eagles.

Bowman, one of four BC players averaging over 12 points per game, is tied for second in the ACC in scoring (20.3 ppg), is fourth in free throw percentage (.825) and leads the conference in minutes played (38.5 per game, 2nd in the nation). Boston College is No. 107 in the Sagarin Ratings, No. 114 in ESPN's College Basketball Power Index (BPI), No. 141 in the NET rankings and No. 119 by Ken Pomeroy through Jan. 13. Boston College is one of four repeat opponents for the Cardinals this season, with UofL visiting the Eagles late next month on Feb. 27.

UofL has a 6-3 series advantage over Boston College and the Cardinals have won the last five matchups. Louisville prevailed 77-69 over the Eagles in the KFC Yum! Center last season (1-21-18) when Deng Adel led the Cardinals with 18 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Dwayne Sutton was honored as ACC Player of the Week on Jan. 14. Sutton had back-to-back double-doubles while averaging 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the last two games. At North Carolina, Sutton had 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
In his last five games, Christen Cunningham has shot 69.8 percent from the field – including 64.3 percent from the three-point line (9-of-14) -- while averaging 13.1 points and 4.0 assists. He made all four of his shots at North Carolina with 10 points and five assists, and scored a season-high 23 points at Pitt with five assists. He leads the ACC in field goal percentage in conference only games (17-of-23, .739).
UofL has scored over 80 points in 10 of its16 games (80.0 ppg) and the Cardinals are 26^th in the nation in adjusted offensive efficiency by Ken Pomeroy. UofL leads the ACC in scoring offense for conference games (86.3 ppg).
Louisville has made seven more free throws (318-of-421, .755) than its opponents have attempted (212-of-311). Louisville is seventh in the nation in free throw attempts per field goal attempts (421/907, 46.4 percent) and is sixth in the nation with 24.8 percent of its points coming from free throws. UofL is 30th in the nation in free throw percentage.
Louisville's 83-62 win at No. 12 North Carolina was its widest margin of victory ever against an AP-ranked team on the road. It was UofL's first road victory over a Top 15 team since winning 58-57 at No. 7 Cincinnati on Feb. 22, 2014.
