Louisville won for the fifth time in seven games as the Cardinal prevailed 83-62 at No. 12/12 North Carolina last Saturday. Dwayne Sutton had his second straight double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Steven Enoch produced his first career double-double with a career-high 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Jordan Nwora scored 17 points, making 5-of-8 threes.

The Cardinals are very balanced on the offensive end, with five players averaging over eight points. Sophomore Jordan Nwora leads the Cardinals in in scoring and rebounding with 17.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.  Christen Cunningham is second on the team in scoring with 10.6 points and leads the team with 53 assists on the year. Dwayne Sutton ranks third on the team in scoring with 10.0 points along with 6.6 rebounds per game. Steven Enoch averages 9.5 points per game while Ryan McMahon is averaging 8.3 points per game.  Â

Bowman, one of four BC players averaging over 12 points per game, is tied for second in the ACC in scoring (20.3 ppg), is fourth in free throw percentage (.825) and leads the conference in minutes played (38.5 per game, 2nd in the nation). Boston College is No. 107 in the Sagarin Ratings, No. 114 in ESPN's College Basketball Power Index (BPI), No. 141 in the NET rankings and No. 119 by Ken Pomeroy through Jan. 13. Boston College is one of four repeat opponents for the Cardinals this season, with UofL visiting the Eagles late next month on Feb. 27.

- Dwayne Sutton was honored as ACC Player of the Week on Jan. 14. Sutton had back-to-back double-doubles while averaging 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the last two games. At North Carolina, Sutton had 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
