Caroline Blalock Named to ILWomen All-Rookie Team

Blalock led the Cards in seven statistical categories, including goals with 43.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's lacrosse's Caroline Blalock has been named to the ILWomen Postseason All-Rookie team.Â
In addition, she has also been named All-ACC Second Team, ACC All-Academic Team and IWLCA Division I All-Region.
A team captain as a freshman, Blalock led the Cards in seven statistical categories, including goals with 43 and hat tricks with nine. She led the team with 2.53 goals per game, 3.24 points per game and 1.41 caused turnovers per game. She ranked fourth in the ACC in caused turnovers per game and fifth with 2.41 ground balls per game.
She scored a career-high five goals vs. Robert Morris and six times scores four goals (Marquette, Butler, Coastal Caroline, Duke, Mercer, Virginia). She was voted ILWomen National Rookie of the Week following her four-goal performance against Virginia.
