Bailey Davis earns honorable mention All-American honors

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Louisville track and field teams wrapped up the 2017-18 season on Saturday at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. The Cardinal women finished 28^th with eight points while the men finished 46^th with five points.

Senior Bailey Davis was the lone Cardinal to compete on Saturday. In her first NCAA appearance, Davis finished 24^th with a time of 16:36.04. She finishes her senior campaign with honorable mention All-American honors.

"We couldn't be prouder of Bailey Davis," said head coach Dale Cowper. "She has been such a strong representative of UofL and our program. Today's race didn't finish the way she has dreamed of it but she has been such a big part of our program for the last four years. Bailey Davis is simply a difference maker."
