Bailey Davis earns honorable mention All-American honors
EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Louisville track and field teams wrapped up the 2017-18 season on Saturday at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. The Cardinal women finished 28th with eight points while the men finished 46th with five points.
Senior Bailey Davis was the lone Cardinal to compete on Saturday. In her first NCAA appearance, Davis finished 24th with a time of 16:36.04. She finishes her senior campaign with honorable mention All-American honors.
"We couldn't be prouder of Bailey Davis," said head coach Dale Cowper. "She has been such a strong representative of UofL and our program. Today's race didn't finish the way she has dreamed of it but she has been such a big part of our program for the last four years. Bailey Davis is simply a difference maker."
