Zuska Signs with the Men's Golf Program

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's golf head coach Mark Crabtree on Friday announced the signing of Jiri Zuska to a National Letter of Intent.

"Jiri will make an immediate impact on our program next fall," Crabtree said. "His experience at the highest level of amateur golf will make for a smooth transition to playing in the ACC. Jiri motivation is off the charts, which will make him a perfect fit for our program."

Zuska, a member of the of the Czech National Teams since the age of 13, finished in the top-five this year at the Copa del Rey during Spanish match play.

The 2016 season was full of accomplishments for the talented European player. Zuska won the 20th Grand Final Faldo, becoming the only Czech to win the tournament in its lengthy history and won the Czech Amateur Tournament. He also earned an invitation to the Czech Masters following that season.
