
Men's Golf in Fifth Place After Two Rounds at the Mason Rudolph Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team had two players finish in the top 10 after two rounds of the Mason Rudolph Championship on Friday at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
Junior Keegan de Lange and freshman Matthias Schmid both fired a 1-over par 145 to sit in a tie for 10th after two rounds of action.
De Lange, who opened the tournament with a 6-over-par 78, responded with a 5-under par 67. He carded six birdies and an eagle to stand at 1-over par after two rounds.
Collectively, the Cardinals are in fifth place after shooting a 21-over par 589. Liberty leads the way at 2-over par, followed by Alabama at 4-over par and Vanderbilt at 7-over.
Senior Nicolas Platret is tied for 38th after shooting a 7-over par 151. After opening with a firt-round score of 78, Platret responded with a 1-over par 73.
John Murphy and Simon Zach rounded out the top five by firing an 8-over-par 152.
