Men's Golf Travels West to San Diego

The Cardinals will take part in their second event of the spring.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team is headed west to San Diego to compete in the Lamkin San Diego Classic. The tournament will take place March 12 -13, with the first two rounds played on the first day starting at 6:30 am (EST), and the third round played on the final day, beginning at 7 a.m (EST).
Competition will take place at the San Diego Country Club on a par 72, 7,033 yard course.
The field will consist of 16 teams including ranked schools such as Oklahoma State (1), Texas Tech (9), and Texas (13). Rounding out the field is: North Carolina, Colorado State, Saint Mary's College, Colorado, San Diego State, Mississippi,Middle Tennessee State, New Mexico, Loyola Marymount, San Diego and University of Connecticut.
The Cardinals will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning, with junior Keegan De Lange taking the top spot. Nicolas Platret. John Murphy, Matthias Schmid and Simon Zach will also be competing in the second event of the spring. UofL will be paired with San Diego, Texas and Colorado State.
