
Women’s Lacrosse Excels in the Classroom

The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.536 grade-point average for the 2018 fall semester.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville lacrosse team completed a successful fall semester in the classroom, posting a 3.536 team grade-point average.
"I am extremely proud of our team for their efforts in the classroom," said head coach Scott Teeter. "Prior to the semester, we set a goal for our team to achieve a 3.5 grade-point average and we are thrilled to accomplish that feat."
In addition, 26 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better GPA, while 21 earned Red & Black Scholar Athlete status for a 3.25 or better cumulative GPA.
Eleven players were named to the Dean's List for Fall 2018, earning above a 3.5 GPA, while four were named Dean's Scholars for a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Hope Herline and Molly Marshall also graduated this semester.
The Cardinals open the 2019 season at Northwestern on Friday, Feb. 8. After three road contests to start the year, they host Mercer on Sunday, Feb. 24.
