Crabtree Adds Mixon to Men's Golf Program

CM Mixon was a runnerup for Mr. Golf in Kentucky as a junior
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's golf head coach Mark Crabtree announced on Tuesday that CM Mixon has signed National Letters of Intent to continue their careers with the Cardinals' program, beginning in 2019.

"I am pleased to announce the signing of CM Mixon to a NLI for our 2019 class," Crabtree said. "CM is a highly competitive young man with a tremendous amount of drive and desire. He will certainly take the next step in his game at the collegiate level. We are very excited to get one of very best young players in the state of Kentucky to join our program."

Attending South Warren High, Mixon was a runner-up for Mr. Golf in the state of Kentucky in 2017. He earned a runner-up finish in the 2018 Kentucky State High School Championship with score of 2-under-par 142 and was a runner-up qualifier for the 2018 USGA Junior Amateur Championship. He also competed in the 2018 United States Junior Championship representing Kentucky

As a junior, Mixon finished in third-place in the 2017 Kentucky State High School Championships, while also capturing six individual tourney wins that season
