October 31, 2018 | Track & Field
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams announced their 2019 indoor and outdoor schedules Wednesday afternoon. The indoor season will begin on Jan. 12 with the Gene Edmunds Cup at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
"We were able to put together a high-level schedule that will allow every student in our program to grow competitively while missing minimal class time throughout the spring semester," said Louisville head coach Dale Cowper. "Our squads are looking forward to getting the season started at Purdue in early January."
Following the meet at Purdue, the Cards will head north to South Bend for the Notre Dame Invitational on Jan. 19. Louisville will compete in events at Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Iowa State during the regular season, followed by the ACC Indoor Championships at Virginia Tech at Feb. 21-23 and the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham on March 8-9.
