Louisville will play its first ACC road game of the season as the Cardinals face the Clemson Tigers in Clemson, S.C. on Saturday. Louisville (11-3, 1-0 ACC) won for the seventh time in its last eight games as the Cardinals beat Pittsburgh 77-51 in their ACC opener on Tuesday. It was the eighth time in the last 10 seasons that the Cardinals have won their conference opening game.

Deng Adel leads the Cardinals in scoring with 15.1 points per game. Quentin Snider ranks second on the team, averaging 12.4 points per game while dishing out a team best 55 assists. Spalding leads the team on the boards with 9.2 rebounds per game and ranks third on the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game. Sophomore V.J. King leads the team from behind the arc, shooting 40.6 percent on the year.

Clemson (13-1, 2-0 ACC), ranked 25th in both the AP and USA Today polls, has won nine straight, falling only to Temple 67-60 on Nov. 19. The Tigers opened ACC competition with a 78-62 home victory over NC State on Dec. 30 and won 74-70 at Boston College on Jan. 3 as Donte Grantham led the Tigers with a career-best 23 points and 14 rebounds with five assists.

Clemson is ranked 25th in both the AP and USA Today polls, its first national ranking since January of 2010. Graham, who passed 1,000 career points on Dec. 22, is one of four players in the nation who averages at least 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting at least 60 percent from the field. He has hit 153 career three-pointers and is one of six players in Clemson history to amass at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 200 assists in a career.

Louisville has a 5-1 series advantage over Clemson. UofL won last year's meeting 92-60, as the Cardinals shot 56.3 percent from the field and held a decisive 45-25 rebounding advantage in Louisville (1-19-17). Saturday's game is UofL's first visit to Littlejohn Coliseum since 1973. The teams played at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. in 2016 while the Tigers' home arena underwent a $63.5 million renovation.

Louisville has won its first conference road game in nine of the last 10 seasons entering Saturday's game at Clemson.
Louisville is second in the nation in blocked shots (7.9 bpg) and ranks 17th in field goal percentage defense (.382) and 43rd in scoring defense (65.4). Center Anas Mahmoud is fourth in the nation in blocked shots (3.93).
Quentin Snider has averaged a team-high 15.3 points, made 14-of-29 three-pointers (.483) and handed out 31 assists with just seven turnovers over the last eight games. He leads the ACC and is 16th in the nation in assists turnover ratio (3.24) and has scored a season-high 19 points in three of the last five games. Snider needs 43 points to become the Cardinals' 68th career 1,000-point scorer.
Louisville has a 28-16 record in its conference road games over the last six years (.636).
Louisville is one of just four schools which have won 20 or more games in each of the last 15 seasons (also Kansas, Duke and Gonzaga).
Louisville has a 40-17 record during the month of January over the last eight years, including a 24-8 record in the last five years.
Deng Adel has scored in double figures in 16 of his last 17 games dating back to last season.
Louisville achieved a collective 3.083 grade-point average for the 2017 fall semester, with nine of 14 current student-athletes earning a 3.0 or better GPA (19th consecutive semester with at least a team 3.0 GPA).
