August 07, 2017 | Men's Golf
Adam Hadwin shot a 7-under at the Bridgestone Invitational.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf program produced a number of great players under head coach Mark Crabtree, but none are better than a pair of PGA Tour performers currently playing professional golf.
Former All-Americans Adam Hadwin and Derek Fathauer both finished in the top 10 at separated events last weekend on tour.
Playing at the prestigious Bridgestone Invitational, Hadwin finished in a tie for fifth place – the fifth top 10 finish of the season for the Canada native. He fired a 7-under 68-69-67-69 to post the third-best finish in his professional career.
Fathauer tied for sixth place at the Barracuda Cup in Reno, Nev., to garner his first top 10 finish of the season.
