
Men's Golf Opens ACC Championship in 12th Place

Cards have three players tied for 35th place
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf team opened up play at the ACC Championships in 12th place after one round at Musgrove Mill Course in Clinton, S.C.
The Cardinals, collectively, shot a 13-over par 301, and are 24 shots off the lead with two rounds to play. Duke leads after one round at 11-under par, followed by Florida State at 10-under par and Clemson at 9-under.
After 18 holes, the Cardinals have three players tied for 35th-place after the morning round. Keegan de Lange, Simon Zach and Erik Dulik all fired a 3-over par 75 to lead the way for the Cardinals.
Trevor Johnson, who is tied for 41st, carded a 4-over par 76, and Nicolas Platret is tied for 49th after his 6-over par 78.
The schedule for the 2017 ACC Men's Golf Championship, held at Musgrove Mill Golf Course, has been altered due to inclement weather forecasted for Sunday.
Originally scheduled for 18 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday, the second and third rounds will now be held on Saturday with play getting underway at 7 a.m. The second and third rounds will be played continuously utilizing split tee starts, and groups will not be repaired after the second round.
The Cardinals will tee off on hole No. 10 at 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
