Emmonnie Henderson Repeats as ACC Women’s Field Performer of the Week

Henderson earns her second straight ACC weekly honor
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville thrower Emmonnie Henderson repeated as the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Field Performer of the Week after delivering a school-record shot put that ranks third in the nation.
Henderson is joined by ACC Men's Track Performer of the Week Robert Heppenstall of Wake Forest, Men's Field Performer of the Week Nathan Richartz of Notre Dame and Women's Field Performer of the Week Erika Kemp of NC State among this week's honorees.
Henderson won the shot put at the Louisville Invitational last Saturday. She threw a personal best of 17.98m/59-0, which surpassed the Louisville Invitational meet record and currently ranks third in the nation. She also set a new school record with the throw, passing her throw 17.50m/57-5.00 the previous weekend, when she first set a new school record. The Edwardsville, Illinois, senior now owns both the indoor and outdoor school record in the shot put.
