
Field Hockey Picks Up Two Wins in Spring Play

Cards stay undefeated through three weeks of the spring season
The University of Louisville field hockey stayed undefeated in the spring season with a pair of wins at the Miami (Ohio) Spring Tournament on Saturday. The Cards opened the day with a 2-0 win over the host RedHawks and went on to beat Kent State 6-1

In their first game of the day, freshman Sydnie Swartwood and junior Marigrace Ragsdale scored.

In game two, Swartwood got the Cardinals' offense started with her second goal of the day. Freshman Whena Munn scored twice while junior Abby Grimes, freshman Minout Mink, sophomore Katie Walsh also contributed to the scoring en route to a 6-1 win. Sophomore Ayeisha McFerran and Hollyn Barr split time in the cage and allowed only one goal on the day.

Louisville will wrap up the spring season next weekend when Indiana visits Trager Stadium.
