Field Hockey Earns NFHCA National Academic Team Award

Cards posted a 3.41 team GPA in the fall semester
The University of Louisville Field Hockey team was named to the 2016 ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Team Award list.
The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year.
Louisville posted a collective 3.41 GPA in the 2016 semester while compiling a 15-6 overall record and made its third-consecutive NCAA appearance. The Cardinals were ranked No. 9 in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Poll after spending the entire regular season ranked in the top 10, reaching as high as No. 6.
