- Sophomore Donovan Mitchell reached double-figures in scoring for the 16th time in 18 games with Saturday's 20-point performance. It marked the ninth time this season and in his career, that he scored 20 or more points in a game, and the 10th time in 11 games that he has scored 16 or more points in a contest.
- Over the last 18 games, Mitchell is averaging 19.2 ppg and has made 55-of-132 3-point field goals (41.7)
- Mitchell has scored in double figures 23 times this season and 36 times in his two collegiate seasons.
- Senior Mangok Mathiang, who has three double-doubles this season, posted his fourth career double-double and second consecutive with a career-best 18 points and 11 rebounds versus Notre Dame, breaking his previous career of 17 points versus Saint Louis on Nov. 28, 2015. Over the last two games, the Melbourne, Australia, native is averaging 15.0 ppg. and 10.5 rpg.
- With 18 points, Mathiang surpassed the 500-point plateau and has 511 during his UofL career.
- Junior Quentin Snider, who scored 17 points this afternoon versus Notre Dame, reached double figures for the 17th time in 25 games this season and has 37 career double-figure scoring games. Since returning from a hip injury, Snider is averaging 14.2 ppg. and 4.3 apg. over the last seven games.
- Snider equaled a career-high with four 3-point field goals made in the win over the Fighting Irish, connecting on that total for the fourth time in his tenure and the first since William and Mary on Nov. 16 of this season.
- Saturday's game also marked the 16th time this season Snider has finished with four or more assists. The Louisville, Ky., native finished the regular season with 102 assists – the second-straight season producing over 100 helpers in a season. Entering tournament play, Snider owns a 2.68 assists-to-turnover ratio, which was third in the ACC. He owns 102 assists and 38 turnovers in 25 games.
