No. 20 Cardinals Travel to Bloomington for Double Dual

Louisville to compete against No. 14 Iowa, No. 16 Indiana and Kansas on Lake Lemon
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 20th-ranked Louisville rowing team returns to action on Saturday as the Cardinals compete in a double dual on Lake Lemon in Bloomington, Ind.
Louisville will compete against No. 14 Iowa, No. 16 Indiana and Kansas in two different race sessions through the day. The first session will begin at 9 a.m., ET, with the Cardinals' first race set to start at 9:24 a.m., against Indiana and Kansas (3V8+). Louisville will complete the morning session with a varsity eight race at 11:24 a.m.
The second race session of the day will begin at 12:30 p.m. Louisville's third varsity eight crew will kick off afternoon racing at 12:42 p.m., and the varsity eight will conclude racing at 2:42 p.m.

"We're excited to travel to Bloomington this weekend to race great competition in Indiana, Iowa, and Kansas. The Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite was a good way to kick off spring training, and the team has worked hard and continued to find speed over the last three weeks, so we are looking forward to testing out some new lineups this weekend," said Louisville assistant coach Sheila Rinozzi. "Iowa had a great outing last weekend at the Longhorn Invitational and Indiana is coming off its third consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship, so it will be fun to see where we fit into this mix. It's still very early in the season, but our team is determined to get back to the NCAA's and this weekend is the first step towards that."
Louisville opened its spring with seven wins at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on March 11-12. That event opened spring break for the Cardinals, who trained throughout the week in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
