
Men's Golf Slips to Third Place at the Kingsmill

Cards have all five golfers placed in the top 20 after two rounds.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â The University of Louisville men's golf team slipped to third place Monday after two rounds of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at the River Course at the Kingsmill Resort.
Collectively, the Cardinals fired a 13-over par 293 to sit six shots off the lead heading into Tuesday's final round. Defending champion Penn State took over the lead after a 4-over round of 284, while Tennessee is in second place.
Individually, Nicolas Platret is in second place after shooting a 2-over par 72, but is even for the first two days. Simon Zach moved into a tie for third place with a 4-over par 74, while Trevor Johnson and Keegan de Lange and Erik Duilk are all tied for 17th-place after play on Monday.
The Cardinals will look for their second tournament win when they are paired in the morning with Tennessee and Penn State.
