
Men's Golf Returns to Action at the 40th Kingsmill Invitational

Cardinals hope to rebound from 12th-place finish at Auburn.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf team returns to action at the 40th annual Kingsmill Intercollegiate hosted by William and Mary on the River Course of the Kingsmill Resort from March 19-21.
The par 70, 6,765-yard course will play host to the 22-team field that features: Binghamton, Delaware, Drake, Eastern Kentucky, Fort Wayne, High Point, Louisville, Loyola (Md.), Marshall, Old Dominion, Penn State, Radford, Sam Houston State, St. Bonaventure, St. Francis (Pa.), Temple, Tennessee, Towson, William and Mary (host), Winthrop, Xavier and Youngstown State.
The Cardinals will be sending Keegan de Lange, Trevor Johnson, Erik Dulilk, Nicolas Platret and Simon Zach to compete at the tournament this weekend.
De Lange leads the Cardinals with a solid 72.10 scoring average after seven events this season, while Zach is second at 72.58.
The Cardinals are looking to improve off the 12th-place finish at the Tiger Invitational on March 5-6. Dulik had a solid final round for the Cardinals by shooting an even par 72 to finish the tournament at a 2-over par 73-73-72=218, while De Lange ended the final round in a tie for 31st-place by firing a 3-over par 72-73-74=219.
Penn State won the tournament a year ago by shooting a 5-over par.
