
Men's Golf Slips to Ninth at John Hayt

Cards shot 13-over par on Saturday.
The University of Louisville men's golf team slipped to ninth place after shooting a 13-over after two rounds of the John Hayt Invitational in Ponte Vedra, Fla., on Saturday afternoon.
Host North Florida took over the lead after the second day of competition by firing a 2-under par to lead Jacksonville by three strokes. Liberty, UCF and Tennessee are each tied for third place.
Nicolas Platret and Keegan de Lange each moved into a tie for 17th-place after both struggling during play in the second round. Â Platret fired a 76 on Saturday, while de Lange carded a 75.
Simon Zach moved to 30th place after shooting a 2-over par 74 while Trevor Johnson carded an 8-over par 80 to drop into a tie for 47th-place. J.D. Lehman is tied for 51st after his second-round score of 76.
The Cards will tee off Sunday at 7:30 a.m., and are paired with North Texas and UAB.
