
Louisville Heads to Mobile Intercollegiate to Begin Spring Season

Cards begin play on Monday, Feb. 20.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf team heads out to its first full competition of the spring this week when the Cardinals travel to Mobile, Alabama, to compete in the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate at Magnolia Grove Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
South Alabama will host 14 teams in addition to the Cardinals at the tournament. Kansas State will be in attendance, along with West Virginia, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Louisiana Lafayette, Illinois State, Southern Mississippi, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Texas State, Abilene Christian, Chattanooga and Alcorn State.
The teams will play the par-72, 7,212-yard Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.
Keegan de Lange, Simon Zach, Trevor Johnson, Nicolas Platret, and J.D. Lehman will represent the Cardinals in the next two events on this two-match trip. The Cardinals will travel to Jacksonville, Fla., for the Johh Hayt Invitational on Feb. 24-26.
Louisville is paired with West Virginia and Cincinnati. Teams will tee off at 8 a.m. in a shotgun start on Monday and play 36 continuous holes. The third and final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
