Field Hockey Earns No. 3 Seed in ACC Championship

Cards will face sixth-seeded Syracuse Thursday, Nov. 2 in ACC quarterfinals at Trager Stadium
The University of Louisville field hockey team has earned the No. 3 seed in the 2017 ACC Field Hockey Championship. The Cardinals (11-5, 4-2 ACC) will take on sixth-seeded Syracuse in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. at Louisville's Trager Stadium.

Regular season champion Virginia (5-1 ACC) will get a bye in the first round and play the winner of No. 4 Wake Forest and No. 5 North Carolina on Friday, Nov. 3, at 12 p.m.  No. 2 Duke (4-2) will take on No. 7 Boston College (0-6) on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. No. 4 Wake Forest (3-3) will take on No. 5 North Carolina (3-3) on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the opening game of the tournament.

Single-session tickets are available for $5 for adults. Youth under 18 and students from an ACC school with valid student identification can enter for free.
