Lehman has been a three-year starter for the Cards
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A three-year starter, senior men's golfer J.D. Lehman has been a solid performer for the head coach Mark Crabtree, and enters his final season for the Cardinals.
Last season, Lehman was one of three players to appear in all 10 tournaments for the Cardinals, finishing fourth on the team with a 73.33 stroke average. He tallied two top-10 and two top-20 finishes during the year, tallying a season-low 18-hole score of 69 three separate times, twice in the second and third round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate and then in the second round of the Linger Longer Invitational.
In 2014-15, Lehman appeared in all 12 tournaments and recorded a 73.94 stroke average which was fifth-best on the team. He registered a one top-10 finish and two to-20 finishes, while logging nine rounds under par. As a freshman, the Bluffton, S.C., native earned three top 20 finishes and one in the top five.
