
Dolly Nyemah Earns Second Straight ACC Field Performer of the Week Honors

Nyemah honored for the second consecutive week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville's Dolly Nyemah earned Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week honors after an outstanding effort in last weekend's competition. This is the second straight honor for Nyemah.Â

Lousville's Nyemah continued to make her mark in the weight throw last Saturday afternoon at the IU Relays. Competing near her hometown, the redshirt senior from Indianapolis surpassed her previous season best mark by a foot with a throw of 21.69m (71-02). Her current mark ranks fifth in the nation.   Â

Syracuse's Adam Palamar was recognized as the ACC Men's Track Performer of the Week and is joined by Women's Track Performer of the Week Peta-Gay Williams of Florida State. Virginia thrower Filip Mihaljevic  is the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week, while Florida State's high jumper Eleonora Omoregie and Nyemah are the Women's Field Co-Performers of the Week.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Meyo Invitational.Â
