"I chose to be a Louisville Cardinal because I knew right away that the program would provide me with an encouraging and positive environment I could thrive and excel in while playing the sport that I love."
Â
Justine Sowry on Meghan Schneider
"I am delighted to have Meghan join the Cardinal family in 2017 after a record-breaking high school season. Meghan has blossomed into a very talented hockey player and has recently been rewarded with USA U19 selection. Meghan is a well-rounded young lady, highly intelligent and it has translated into a strong hockey IQ and astute reader of the game. She is athletic, versatile and has a deep 'tool box' of skills which will enable her to play where we need her most. We have seen her play in the backfield where she is the leader of the defense and she also has solid attacking and penetrating skills moving forward. With her hardworking and meticulous approach, I have no doubt that she will be prepared for hockey at the ACC and national levels."Â
