Sarah Sabaluski will join the Cardinals' roster in the fall of 2017
University of Louisville head field hockey coach Justine Sowry has announced that Sarah Sabaluski has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Cardinals starting in the fall of 2017. She is one of eight newcomers expected to join the U of L field hockey program, with the other signees to be announced in the upcoming weeks.

High School: Lake-Lehman HS

Sarah Sabaluski come to Louisville from Lehman, Pa., where she was a four-year starter for Lake-Lehman High School. The midfielder/defender helped lead her team to three straight conference championships (2014, 2015, 2016). During her senior season, Lake-Lehman High School was the third-ranked team in the state and went on to win the 2016 district title after posting runner-up finishes in 2014 and 2015.

Sabaluski was a four-time Wyoming Valley coaches team selection and a Times Leader All Star in each of her seasons at Lake-Lehman. She was named to the NPF Sports All-District team in 2015 and 2016 and earned first team Wyoming Valley Conference All-Star honors her sophomore, junior and senior years.

In addition to her high school hockey team, Sabaluski also played club field hockey for XCalibur and has competed in USA Field Hockey's Futures program since 2012. She was selected to play in the 2016 National Futures Championship.
